This yoga mat is made from dried natural rubber tree material. It does not include the latex component of the tree – good news for those with allergies. Optimun grip offering non slip performance, traction is incredible even when wet with perspiration, and totally biodegradable.

Please be aware we only store yoga mats for Annual, 6 monthly
and 3 monthly passes
.

Please write your name on your yoga mat to ensure they are still being used.

Every 3 months we check for mats that are left behind unused. These mats will be donated to Charity. Please ensure your mats are placed in the storage box outside. If you are a member, would you please not leave your mats on the fence overnight. Thank you.

sweaty / two-towel yogi's


Here at Bikram Yoga Brisbane we love to keep the carpet clean and our clients happy! We all like to share a happy experience in the hot room. For those students who sweat a lot and leave a heavy amount of sweat left after class particularly around mat and under would you please now use two towels. This way it saves the carpet getting soaked and much better for all the other people who practice after you. There’s nothing worst than putting your nose down in a wet patch. Thank you everyone for your understanding.

registering at front reception

As we are all keen to get into the hot room and get our favourite spot, please note that you must sign in on the class sheet and register at reception before you enter the hot room or the facilities. This is a safety law standard requirement. Also from our reference we need you to sign in before laying your mat down.

Please be patient with this process - we can get busy at times in the evening and we are doing our best to get things moving as quickly and efficiently as possible. The front door on a general rule will be opened around half and hour before each class.

If you aren't required to make a payment on a particular day then just come through and sign on the class register sheet your name and number and head into the hot room.

If you are coming to a morning class, or perhaps the afternoon 4.30pm class, there are double car parks down in the basement level that can fit two cars in the spot allocated.

If you are coming to the class then please try to park in front of each other to ensure we maximise parking for everyone.

yoga memberships

When you purchase a yoga package please understand that all packages have an expiry date. The prices and expiry times are listed on the website, in all advertising information and noted at reception for your understanding.

Please take consideration as to which yoga package suits you best when purchasing and please respect all expiry dates. Unfortunately we do not extend yoga packages (consideration will be given to Annual, 6 monthly and 3 monthly members only).

new 'accounts payable' policy

We have a new policy at Bikram Yoga Brisbane, much to my regret but over the past years or so we have allowed clients to take drinks, towels, mats and practice yoga without paying. Unfortunately we cannot allow this anymore. We are too busy to take notes and right down accounts owing. Without sounding like a whining mother you need to arrive organised with your coins, or money to pay for all items. Think of it as good yoga etiquette to pay for the items you want
.

As from October 2007 there will be a $5 deposit required for a locker key, which will be refunded on the return of the key.

personal belongings

Coming to Bikram Yoga and practicing for 90 minutes can really wipe you right out, mentally and physically! Perhaps you’re a little spaced out and forget to take all your personal belongings with you.

Please take all your belongings home with you
– we have been left with towels, jewellery, clothing and shoes – mountains of items. We are only holding onto items for 3 months and then off they go to charity. Please note: we can’t be responsible for all personal belongings.

60-Day Bikram Challenge

Are you ready to change your life?

Are you ready to change your life? Are you looking for inspiration, motivation and direction to re-shape you mind and your body?

Bikram believes that if you practice his yoga 6 days a week for two months your life will be transformed.

Once completed you are honoured on the website and the prize is a complimentary one-month unlimited pass.

• The "Challenge" is completed over a 60-day period in which you must complete 51 classes (6 days per week for the first eight weeks and then three classes in the final week)

• If you fail your pass will be changed to an unlimited pass until the end date of your "Challenge".

• If you require a day off during the"Challenge" we will allow you to make it up within the next week. This will be only tolerated once.

• All classes must be done at Bikram Yoga Brisbane.

• You may attempt the "Challenge" as many times as you like.

• The complimentary pass awarded for success must be used within 3 months of your "Challenge".

30-Day Bikram Challenge

try our 30-day challenge and find inspiration, motivation and direction to re-shape you mind and your body?

Bikram Choudury's visit to Australia

23 August 2008

On August 23rd Bikram Choudhury came to Sydney for a one day Seminar, which doesn’t happen very often. It was a fabulous day and a long day too! The day was full of fun, sweat, and laughter with Bikram. And we all got to see and meet many other teachers and students from Australia, New Zealand and parts of Asia.

Bikram is a real laugh when you get to meet him but he is not only a great entertainer but he is the original founder of this amazing yoga and can inspire so many people from around the world and make so many changes to peoples life’s.

Thank you to all who attended the day. I hope you enjoyed the experience. For the people who didn’t get to come I have posted some pictures on the web site - click on the image above or the 'photos' tab in the menu bar.
